Telecommunications Project Manager

Position Purpose/Summary The Project Manager is committed to providing the highest quality of service to the communities, customers, and employees we serve by organizing, tracking, and managing all types of telecommunications projects.
High level duties involve allocating tasks, setting goals and deadlines, handling documentation and consulting with customers.
This position is responsible for managing multiple major projects potentially involving all operational groups within the company.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Identify and work with relevant project stakeholders to define scope of required deliverables and identify total costs, issues, risks, opportunities, and dependencies.
Create and manage project budgets.
Establish and maintain clear and effective progress monitoring, reporting and control mechanisms and reports on the project status internally and externally.
Identify, manage, and escalate issues and risks that cause the project to deviate from agreed tolerances.
Effectively apply change control management to avoid scope and cost creep, but also to increase service revenue.
Lead and facilitate frequent progress review meetings between relevant Stakeholders and Vendors.
Track all vendor commitments to ensure that projects are completed in the agreed-upon time frame and that all deliverables are within specifications.
Utilize project management tools to track and report project status to management on a regular basis.
Assist in the documentation process of procedures utilized throughout the company.
Lead reviews of lessons learned to foster a culture for continual improvement.
Must be able and willing to travel, as required, to job sites.
Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Ability to use appropriate computer programs (including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite) which includes having proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn as programs and processes change.

Knowledge of and the ability to comply with Companys Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) regulations and procedures.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule, as needed, to best serve our customers.
Knowledge of FTTH construction practices and systems Knowledge of Telecommunications Inside Plant / Central Office / Head End technical operations, design, build, test, deployment and related practices Qualifications At a minimum, the Project Manager must have a bachelors degree in a related field along with 3
years of project coordination experience or 5
years of related experience and a valid drivers license.
Project Management Certifications are preferred but not required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
