Mechanical Engineer Missouri
As a Mechanical Project Engineer at Kansas City Deaerator, you will play a crucial role in development and execution of our projects.
This position will involve all aspects of project management including thermal, hydraulic and mechanical design of deaerators and ASME pressure vessels.
You will use and apply customer specifications and industry codes and standards (ASME, HEI, API, ANSI, NACE, TAPPI, EPRI, etc.
).
You will be the primary point of contact between our customers and our fabrication partners and you will ensure that projects are well-designed, technically accurate, completed on time and within budget.
You will help our team maintain excellent customer and vendor relationships.
Your involvement will include new projects, aftermarket support and potential field-work.
Some travel is required including the possibility for international travel (total travel is usually less than 5%).
Additional duties may include fabricator quality audits and inspections, customer consultations, equipment startups, aftermarket inspections, field construction oversight and equipment performance testing.
